Tom has been providing independent research for 10+ years. Prior to founding Sales Pulse Research, Tom spent 20+ years in network infrastructure sales. Tom has held field management and executive positions at Network Systems/Storage Technologies, FORE Systems/Ericsson, Loudcloud and Netex Software. Tom’s positions have included VP of Sales, Area VP, Sales Director and Account Executive.
Tom has sales experience in both the service provider and enterprise markets. His success has included building a sales team at FORE Systems that grew sales from $6M to $190M in four years. Notable clients have included AT&T, Cox Communications, Raytheon Corporation, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, RJ Reynolds, Delta Airlines, Time Warner Communications, U.S. Government, Media and Entertainment accounts, Universities, Disney, Office Depot, Boeing, among many others.
Tom has an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA from the State University of NY at Albany.
Steve is a Technology Research Analyst for Sales Pulse Research and has over 25 years of experience in enterprise technology. He has held roles in field Customer Service and Systems Engineering at Network Systems Corporation. He worked in Network Engineering at First Union National Bank, now Wells Fargo, Solution Architecture at Inrange, now Brocade, Business Development and Marketing at NetEx Software, Nirvanix in the cloud storage vertical, and at Syncsort, a software company in Big Data.
Steve has extensive experience in market verticals such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, and Information Services. He covers the Big Data and Analytics, Cloud, Storage, and Networking markets for Sales Pulse Research.
Mike is Analyst and President of Securosis, a security consulting firm. Mike has been assisting Sales Pulse Research since 2013. He has extensive industry experience and expertise and adds depth to Sales Pulse Research views on security vendors and trends. Mike has views on numerous private as well as just about all public security vendors. Mike works with many end users and brings their views as well as a strong understand of vendor strategies and competitive dynamics.
